Kalleda School Launched - July 1994

For a village of around 3000 people in Warangal district, Andhra Pradesh the literacy rate and education level in this village is much to be desired. Our affiliated local NGO, Rural Development Foundation, has taken the initiative to start a primary and secondary school now has enrolled over six hundred students.

The school provides uniforms to remove caste and class barriers, as well as midday meals. This village is from an area that is considered to be backward by Indian standards. The school which began with Kindergarten (KG), Grade 1, and Grade 2, has now reached to Grade 10.
